* timer-uclass: Always use "clock-frequency" property as fallbackAlex Bee2023-11-291-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently the "clock-frequency" DT property is only being considered as an fallback if either there is no clock driver, the clock driver implements the request-op correctly or there is no clock defined for the timer at all. This patch makes "clock-frequency" also being picked as a fallback if getting the clock-rate fails, since clk_get(_by_index) will return no error, if a clock driver does not implement the request-op and does also not support getting the rate of the clock in question. timer_post_probe will take care if the property does not exist in the DT or is defined as 0. However, once the driver model timer is enabled, we do need to be able to access the timer's private data when reading the timer, so add it to the core function needed for that. In bind_by_node_path(), which called lists_bind_fdt(), the driver entry is known, pass it to lists_bind_fdt() to force the driver entry selection. For this, add a new parameter struct *driver to lists_bind_fdt(). Fix also all lists_bind_fdt() callers. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents.
