* sandbox: Enable support for the gzip commandSimon Glass2021-12-261-1/+3
| | | | | | | This does not work with sandbox at present. Fix it up to use map_sysmem() to convert an address to a pointer. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* global: Convert simple_strtoul() with hex to hextoul()Simon Glass2021-08-021-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | It is a pain to have to specify the value 16 in each call. Add a new hextoul() function and update the code to use it. Add a proper comment to simple_strtoul() while we are here. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* command: Remove the cmd_tbl_t typedefSimon Glass2020-05-181-3/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | We should not use typedefs in U-Boot. They cannot be used as forward declarations which means that header files must include the full header to access them. Drop the typedef and rename the struct to remove the _s suffix which is now not useful. This requires quite a few header-file additions. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* common: Drop part.h from common headerSimon Glass2020-05-181-0/+1
| | | | | | Move this uncommon header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* env: Move env_set_hex() to env.hSimon Glass2019-08-111-0/+1
| | | | | | | | Move env_set_hex() over to the new header file along with env_set_addr() which uses it. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Acked-by: Joe Hershberger <joe.hershberger@ni.com>
* common: Move gzip functions into a new gzip headerSimon Glass2019-08-111-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | As part of the effort to remove things from common.h, create a new header for the gzip functions. Move the function declarations to it and add missing documentation. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Simon Goldschmidt <simon.k.r.goldschmidt@gmail.com>
* cmd: unzip: use correct format codeHeinrich Schuchardt2019-01-151-1/+1
| | | | | | src_len is defined as unsigned long. So use %lu for printf(). Signed-off-by: Heinrich Schuchardt <xypron.glpk@gmx.de>
* SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini2018-05-071-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
* env: Rename common functions related to setenv()Simon Glass2017-08-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | We are now using an env_ prefix for environment functions. Rename these commonly used functions, for consistency. Also add function comments in common.h. Suggested-by: Wolfgang Denk <wd@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
* dm: blk: Rename get_device() to blk_get_device_by_str()Simon Glass2016-03-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The current name is too generic. The function returns a block device based on a provided string. Rename it to aid searching and make its purpose clearer. Also add a few comments. * dm: Drop the block_dev_desc_t typedefSimon Glass2016-03-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Use 'struct' instead of a typdef. Also since 'struct block_dev_desc' is long and causes 80-column violations, rename it to struct blk_desc. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Tested-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>
* Remove the cmd_ prefix from command filesSimon Glass2016-01-251-0/+88
Now that they are in their own directory, we can remove this prefix. This makes it easier to find a file since the prefix does not get in the way.
